ynda Bailey is Melbourne born, now retired and living on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. She first attended art lessons with renowned Port Albert artist, Warren Curry in 2005 and then travelled to Corfu in Greece on a painting trip with him and a group of artists in 2006.

Her inspirations come from the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, her travels, both from within Australia and overseas along with photographs from family and friends.  Vibrant colours, clouds and texture are a signature of her paintings, particularly strong sapphires, beautiful blues and the ochre hues of the Australian Kimberley area.

Lynda has contributed to exhibitions at the Stonnington Town Halls in both Malvern and Prahran.  She has also exhibited and sold paintings at various art shows including Camberwell Art Show, St Kevin’s College Art Show and Sorrento, Mornington and Bayside Rotary Art Shows, Peninsula Arts Society and Geelong Region Cancerians Art Show.

She is very privileged to be the Featured Artist at the Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic in Tanti Avenue, Mornington.  All paintings on display are for sale.
